Recently, the promotion event “Mountains & Seas-themed Agriculture-Culture-Tourism Integrated Development between Haiyan and Pingshan” was held for Pingshan County’s agricultural, cultural, and tourism products at Qiyuan Culture Square.

In the specialty agro-products exhibition area, 24 booths were neatly arranged, showcasing over 110 types of 40 different kinds of specialty agricultural products from Pingshan County and other regions. Among the many exhibits, the green tea-flavored craft beer brought by Pingshan Fengshuo Agricultural Investment Co., Ltd. attracted significant public attention. “This beer combines the unique flavor of Pingshan's traditional green tea with modern craft beer brewing techniques, creating a distinctive taste experience,” said Wang Xingyun, the company's agricultural product promoter.

As an intangible cultural heritage (ICH) inheritor of Yi ethnic embroidery, Ahuo Shiwu brought a variety of characteristic cultural and creative embroidery products to the exhibition, including short-sleeved shirts, coats, handbags, and more, all of which were exquisite works of art. “These embroidery works draw inspiration from the traditional culture of the Yi ethnic group, ingeniously integrating ancient legends, mysterious totems, and the Yi people's beautiful expectations for life,” said Ahuo Shiwu.

Leveraging its selenium-rich soil resources, Pingshan has focused on developing five specialty agricultural products: black pork, tea, fruits, white konjac, and bamboo shoots, all of which were on display at the event. In addition to the exciting exhibition activities, a signing ceremony for agricultural, cultural, and tourism cooperation agreements was also held on the spot. In the future, Haiyan and Pingshan will integrate their tourism resources, jointly create characteristic tourism routes, and attract more tourists to visit Pingshan for sightseeing and to experience the charm of Yi ethnic villages. The two sides will also deepen cooperation in the agricultural industry and agricultural product sales, promoting the modernization of Pingshan's agricultural industry.

Pingshan County, located in Yibin City, Sichuan Province, is rich in specialty agricultural products such as white yams, Yi black pigs, and cold-water fish. It boasts over 1,300 high-quality cultural and tourism resources, including National Nature Reserve of Laojun Mountain and  National Geopark of Huanya Danxia. Since 2024, Haiyan has sold nearly 120 million yuan worth of Pingshan's agricultural products and characteristic handicrafts, effectively promoting income growth and prosperity among local farmers in Pingshan county.
