This year has witnessed the delicacy “Butter Rice Cake” take the baking industry by storm. The raw materials for this Internet-famous product are provided by Zhejiang Pinwei Food Co., Ltd., a company based in Tongyuan Town, Haiyan.

Zhu Zewang, the company’s director, showed the reporter the premixes of the best-selling product “Butter Rice Cake”. According to him, the company has garnered substantial orders due to the unique texture of the “Butter Rice Cake”: a slightly crispy exterior with a soft, chewy interior.

This company specializes in the research, production and sales of baking products. Founded in 2022 in Tongyuan’s New Economic Industrial Park, it commenced production in January 2025. Its flagship products are premixes, which can be made into popular baked products like fluffy cakes and crispy cookies. Unlike ordinary flour, these premixes are well blended baking ingredients based on a specific food formulas.

The company’s products are well sold domestically and exported to Europe, the U.S, Southeast Asia, etc. Notably, the company obtained China’s first USDA organic certification, one of the world’s most authoritative organic certifications, this February. The products bearing the USDA label are officially verified to contain 100% organic components.

To align with market trends and evolving consumer preferences, the company has developed over 100 types of premixes used for bread, cakes and fermented flour products to cater to the personalized needs of both baking businesses and consumers.
