With the theme “Literature and Art for Common Prosperity”, the artistic performance of the volunteers of Zhejiang Federation of Literature and Art was held in Culture and Art Center of Haiyan. The literature and art volunteers and special cultural representatives of the province and local art workers jointly made the performance, bringing locals a wonderful artistic feast.

The performance started with men’s performance of the rolling lanterns - an intangible cultural heritage. To the sound of the drums being beaten, this intangible cultural heritage performance team members danced, jumped, turned and swung with rolling lanterns, showing the charm of this intangible cultural heritage. Dong Qifeng, president of Comical Art Theater of Hangzhou, also winner of Peony Award of Chinese Folk Art, joined hands with the original cast of the Spring Festival Gala of CCTV to perform a short skit “Presenting Gift”, winning bursts of applause for its humorous style. The magic show “Miracles around Us” interwove fantasy with reality; the dance “Inner Voice” interpreted the “emotional code” in the heart of young people; the suona horn solo “Picking Jujubes” fully showed the charm of traditional art vividly...

This performance was sponsored by Literary and Art Federation of Zhejiang, and jointly organized by Zhejiang Literary and Art Volunteer Service League and Jiaxing Literary and Art Federation. Since the beginning of this year, Haiyan’s provincial, municipal and county-level “special cultural representatives” have worked hard in the countryside and brought high-quality culture to grassroots units to enrich people’s cultural life. In recent years, the county has established a sound mechanism of bringing quality cultural resources to grassroots units and implemented the “special culture representatives” system whose mission is to benefit the people, boost industrial development and villages’ cultural prosperity to implement, improve and innovate the “special culture representatives” system. Now the county has established seven types of cooperation groups of “special culture representatives” such as culturally innovative development groups, and public literature and art compilation groups. Additionally, it has implemented a culture-driven rural revitalization strategy to improve the teams of “the special culture representatives”, and set up 23 high-efficiency cooperation teams in the pairing villages (communities) to cooperate with “the special culture representatives” to make cultural projects more beneficial to the people.
