  • From November 5th to 10th, the 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE) took place in Shanghai. This year, the CIIE expanded its global network, attracting participants from 152 countries, regions, and international organizations, covering over 420,000 square meters of exhibition space. During this vibrant autumn, enterprises from Haiyan County participated in the expo, presenting new concepts and achievements in high-quality development and exploring global opportunities with partners.

This year marked the seventh consecutive participation of Novartis Group at the CIIE. Under the theme "Focus on Innovative Medicines, Share a Healthy Future," Novartis showcased nearly 20 innovative products and advanced therapies, including several that were global exclusives or firsts. Furthermore, Novartis China signed strategic cooperation agreements with Shanghai Pharmaceuticals Holding Co., Ltd., and Chongqing Pharmaceutical (Group) Co., Ltd.

The CIIE also featured a range of innovative products from global leaders in technology and high-end equipment. Danfoss Group, Denmark's largest industrial group and a pioneer in green development, introduced decarbonization solutions applicable to energy, industry, and urban-rural development. They demonstrated green transformation methods and enhanced development efficiency through a mix of products, programs, and case studies. Since 2005, Haiyan County has hosted Danfoss’s largest R&D and production base in China.

YATO (Jiaxing) Co., Ltd., established in 2019 and located in the Baibu Economic Development Zone of Haiyan County, displayed over 200 products, including manual, electric, and pneumatic tools, labor protection gear, accessories, and tool carts.

This year’s CIIE featured six major exhibition areas: Food and Agricultural Products, Automobiles, Technical Equipment, Consumer Goods, Medical Equipment and Pharmaceuticals, and Trade in Services, along with an Innovation Incubation Zone. The event saw an increase in participation from the previous year, with 297 Fortune 500 companies and industry leaders, setting a new record.
