In the New Economy Entrepreneurship Park in Haiyan, the production workshop of Laike Food Technology (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd. is filled with the roar of machines and aroma of fruits. Four automated production lines are running at full speed. Cans of red beans, oats, and pomelo‑mango sago dessert roll off the line one after another, while robotic arms precisely stack and palletize them onto trucks headed to tea shops and restaurants across the country. As a company specializing in the R&D and production of jams and canned foods, its star products have already won over consumers. Its mellow oat cans, creamy and grainy red bean cans, and refreshing and sweet pomelo‑mango sago dessert cans have made it the “unsung hero” behind well‑known brands such as Molly Tea, CHIU GEE Wanyoo, Xiabu Xiabu, and more. This market recognition comes from the company’s efforts in improving products’ quality. Every product must undergo dozens of rounds of recipe optimization. To meet the refreshing requirements of tea brands, the coconut milk ratio in the pomelo‑mango sago dessert cans should be fine‑tuned repeatedly; to meet the requirements of dessert shops, the cooking time for the red bean cans should be timed to the second. From raw material selection to finished product delivery, the company has established a service network covering needs analysis, recipe development, pilot production and bulk supply, building small cans into a sweet bridge between the company and consumers. The company has put in place a quality control system to ensure the safety of every can through pesticide residue testing on incoming ingredients, in‑line monitoring during production, and comprehensive inspections of finished goods. Today, the company’s products are not only found in stores across China. They have been sold well in Europe, the United States, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East. Its exports account for nearly 10% of its business; and its overseas factory in Malaysia has achieved localized production, further reducing logistics costs and realizing rapid response to international customers’ needs. |
