Recently, the open-air music party “Lawn Live·Twilight Limiting Romance”  kicked off in Scenic Area of South-north Lake in Haiyan.

On the stage set up on the large lawn of this scenic area, energetic rock, soothing folk melodies and pulsating electronic music create a magical spark. The audience waved their hands and sang along to the rhythm, while children danced to the beat, turning the venue into a joyous ocean.

Adjacent to the music party was a container-based market with various stalls, around which were crowds of people, some savoring snacks, and some holding specialty drinks while taking photos. Beyond the festivities on the lawn, hundreds of drones fly in the sky above Baogong Causeway at 19:30 every Friday and Saturday, shifting shapes in the night sky, full of technological wonders. Meanwhile, an equally stunning drone light show takes place every Sunday over New Century Senbo Resort.

From Tuesday to Sunday between 18:40 - 19:13 and 19:40 - 20:13, you can appreciate the poetic light show on the Egret Islet. As the first immersive live performance against the mountains-sea-lake backdrop, it draws inspiration from “Ganchuan’s Eight Scenes” and uses holographic imaging technologies and laser carving to create ten immersive scenes. Actors in ancient costumes recite poetry, paint, sing and dance gracefully to ethereal folk music, creating a poetic and romantic atmosphere of thousand-year-old Ganchuan. The lawn stage isn’t just for performances. Next to the container market, there’s a karaoke zone, and one-stop service zone for dining, entertainment, etc.

As China’s only 4A scenic area integrating mountains, sea and lake, this scenic area boasts unique advantages. Based on the large lawn, it is being developed into “Altay of the South of the Yangtze River Delta” by enriching nighttime tours to make its nights more attractive and its tourists reluctant to leave. This open-air music party will continue from 18:30 to 21:00 on August 29 and 30.
