Strengthening agriculture through technology and machinery helps advance agricultural modernization, improve production efficiency and increase economic returns. Not long ago, Haiyan’s two county-level agricultural projects supported by technology and machinery Lyuyou Farming Service Center in Xitangqiao and Fruit Agriculture Machinery and Agronomy Integration Demonstration Base in Ganpu were fully completed and passed county-level inspections.

These two projects began their construction last year. At Lyuyou Farm located in Economic Development Zone of Haiyan, you can find lots of new agricultural equipment in the Lyuyou Farming Service Center such as grain loaders, wet grain storage towers, brown rice cleaners, constant-temperature equipment for grain storage towers and grain conveyors for storage towers.

In recent years, Lyuyou Farm has constructed Lyuyou Farm Service Center, and renewed and upgraded agricultural facilities to enhance production efficiency. By providing farmers with full-process mechanized operations and farming services, it helps reduce fertilizer use by 15% and increases yields by 5% per acre, effectively saving costs and increasing farmers’ incomes.

Fruit Agriculture Machinery and Agronomy Integration Demonstration Base was constructed by Xiantaoyuan Farm.

Recent years have witnessed Haiyan increase investment in fruit and grain production. 14 projects have been included in the provincial-level agricultural pools of the projects supported by technology and machinery, and have either commenced their construction or operations. These projects encompass the construction of farming service centers, or are used for seed breeding and machinery-strengthened agricultural development.
