In recent years, efforts have been intensified in Haiyan to build a biodiversity conservation model, establish and restore Qianjiang Tide-source Wetland Park, Beili Lake Wetland Park and Sanwan Botanical Garden, and optimize the function of South-north Lake Police Station for Ecological Protection, which has significantly enhanced the ecological functions of this scenic area, biodiversity and ecological security.

To deeply leverage its ecological assets and create immersive experience bases where visitors coexist harmoniously with nature, this scenic area has been engaged in ecological protection, science popularization and education, integrated its landscape resources, and built biodiversity experience bases for ecological conservation, science popularization, research and education, and for visitors to explore natural ecological wonders.

Additionally, based on its facilities like Biodiversity Experience Hall and Old Tea Factory’s Science Workshop, this scenic area has cooperated with professional institutions to launch immersive educational programs, which makes visitors deeply engage with nature, and serve as active participants and advocates for ecological conservation in a fun and educational environment.
