Now it is the prime time for a spring travel amid warm breezes. The “Ideal Life Season” kicked off at the Scenic Area of South-north Lake on March 22, 2025. With the theme “Savoring Lakeside Spring Scenery and Embracing Happy Ideal Life”, the “Ideal Life Season” blended garden strolls, traditional markets, lakeside concerts and kitchen painting exhibitions, attracting crowds of locals and tourists.

At 9:30 a.m., the “Ideal Life Season” began at the East Xiaowan Commerce Street. Twelve Han Chinese clothing-clad “Flower Goddesses” led visitors on a stroll along the Baogong Causeway. The lake’s shimmering water harmonized with traditional Chinese clothing, which seemed that the scene of ancient times had reappeared. The traditional markets of the commerce street were filled with crowds, and various handicrafts, snacks, and Han Chinese clothing accessories, and here visitors can shop and immerse themselves in cultural charm.

At the lawn area named “Ripened Loquats”, the melodic tunes of the lakeside concert merged with serene views; and a social intercourse event was organized for young men and women to play games, tell stories and make friends in the spring breeze of the Scenic Area of South-north Lake.

On the opening day of the “Ideal Life Season”, this scenic area welcomed over 42,900 visitors.

The “Ideal Life Season” is a comprehensive culture and tourism carnival of the Scenic Area of South-north Lake. During the “Ideal Life Season”, tourists can enjoy outdoor sports, fruits picking, cuisines and cultural experience. Over the coming year, it will continue to serve as a platform for tourists and citizens to relax themselves and enjoy happy life.
