From November 5 to 10, the 6th China International Import Expo (CIIE) was held at the National Convention and Exhibition Center (Shanghai). At the CIIE, a mass of featured products concerning the machinery, energy and equipment manufacturing of Haiyan’s enterprises attended. At this world-class platform showcasing new products, technologies and services, these unique Haiyan’s products attracted much attention of the visitors at home and abroad. CIIE this year focused on environmental protection and became an important window to demonstrate sustainable and green development. Air Products is one of the world’s largest hydrogen suppliers and producers of liquid hydrogen. Now, it is constructing China’s first large-scale commercial liquid hydrogen plant in Economic Development Zone of Haiyan (Xitangqiao Sub-district), and its first phase is expected to be put into operation in 2024. This year’s CIIE witnessed the inauguration ceremony of the company’s Asian Hydrogen R&D Center and Commercial Hydrogen Station of Haiyan. Meanwhile, a series of carbon reduction and efficiency improvement technologies and solutions for energy transformation and industrial upgrading were displayed at the CIIE, including the solutions to hydrogen energy’s whole industry chain, industrial gas technologies and products.

As one of the largest multinational industrial manufacturing companies of Denmark, Danfoss is a world leader in refrigeration, heat supply, water treatment and the manufacturing of drive control equipment. In 2005, Danfoss invested in Haiyan. Up to now, it has invested eight projects in Haiyan. In 2022, its annual output value in Haiyan totaled 4.5 billion yuan. Now Haiyan has become one of its largest production bases in the Asia-Pacific region. During the CIIE, CNNC successfully held the theme forum of “AI Creates a Bright Future of Nuclear” and signed for centralized procurement.

The Isotope Production Base of Qinshan Nuclear Power Plant attended at the CIIE as well, showing CNNC’s solutions and Qinshan Nuclear Plant’s solutions to the construction of “Healthy China”. When you entered the technical equipment area of the CIIE, you would find a wide range of innovative products representing the world’s cutting-edge technologies and top-end equipment. Poland’s TOYA Group is a comprehensive enterprise engaged in trade, production and sales, and now it is a well-known supplier of hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools and sanitary ware in the European market. In 2008, it established Yato Tools (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. in China. With its  continuous expansion, it established Yato Tools (Jiaxing) Co., Ltd. in 2019, and constructed a plant integrating warehousing, office and sample display in the Economic Development Zone of Baibu (Baibu Town), and now can produce 260,000 tool sets and 300,000 power tools a year. In the technical equipment exhibition zone of this CIIE, the company’s hand tools and power tools were exhibited such as the wrench, screw batch, pliers, electric hammer and angle grinder.

It is reported that this year, 154 countries, regions and international organizations gathered at the sixth CIIE, and more than 3,400 companies from 128 countries and regions attended it. The CIIE is composed of the national comprehensive exhibition, enterprises’ business exhibition, Hongqiao Forum, professional supporting activities and cultural exchange activities, and the enterprises’ business exhibition is divided into six exhibition zones: technical equipment, consumer goods, food &agricultural products, automobiles, medical equipment & medicine & health care, and service trade.
