Not long ago, the promotion meeting on constructing “Common Prosperity Workshops” for Oriented Recruitment was held in Zhejiang, identifying provincial-level model spots of “common prosperity workshops” 2023, and released excellent practice cases. In recent years, the county has actively guided and mobilized enterprises to participate in the construction of the “Common Prosperity Workshop” for Oriented Recruitment, and effectively help low-income farmers realize flexible and stable employment near their homes. The “Common Prosperity Workshop” for Oriented Recruitment has effectively created jobs for surplus rural laborers and low-income farmers, reduced enterprises’ production, labor and land costs, and improved industries and enterprises’ efficiency, farmers’ incomes and collectives’ wealth.

Zhejiang Xinshengda is a professional manufacturer of fastener products. In 2021, the company jointly constructed a “common prosperity workshop” with Women’s Federation of Haiyan and the Disabled Persons’ Federation of Haiyan. Taking the “3+4+5” Party building mechanism of Xuyouche Village as a platform, this company has established a “Village’s Party committee + factory + villager” operation model by pairing itself with enterprises and sharing resources and cooperating with others. The Party committee of this village has built a bridge to collect enterprises’ information concerning orders, employment and idle factories to help the middle-aged, old and disabled people find jobs. Now this company has created 70 jobs for the residents nearby, so that the employees have achieved an increase of incomes of 4,500 yuan each person per month.

Located in Wanghai Sub-district, Zhejiang Qinglian Food Co., Ltd., is a leading agricultural enterprise. In recent years, the company has attached importance to the leading role of the Party building, established the common prosperity mechanism “enterprises of chamber of commerce + joint efforts in the Party building + common prosperity workshops + oriented recruitment”, signed the Party building cooperation agreements with the companies of the chamber of commerce, Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of Haiyan, Feed Institute of College of Animal Sciences of Zhejiang University, Jiaxing Nanhu University and Jiaxing Vocational and Technical College. The company has built the Party building brand “Intelligent and Digital Qinglian·Major Enterprise-led Prosperity”, established the Common Prosperity Workshop of Qinglian Food, and signed oriented recruitment agreements with 10 villages (communities) of Wanghai such as Qinglian Temple Village and Xinglong Village, and has built a county-level common prosperity lab, a common prosperity workshop, some common prosperity shops and a common prosperity farm Qinglian·Jingning, one of the “Mountain-Ocean Collaboration Projects” of Zhejiang.

Since the beginning of this year, Haiyan has continued to amplify the effect of the “common prosperity workshops”, promoted the deep integration of villages, enterprises and villagers, dynamically established the “four lists” concerning local resources, supply and demand, policy supports and rural surplus labor forces, and adjusted the list regularly. Up to now, the county has matched 639 pieces of information on employment and training, and successfully guided rural surplus labor forces and low-income farmers to work in the common prosperity workshops.

Today, the “common prosperity workshops” have been established widely in Haiyan. The number of the “common prosperity workshops” now totals 73, which cover various fields such as processing according to supplied materials, integration of agriculture and tourism, and industrial development and can create over 2,140 jobs and bring 36,000 yuan to each employee a year.
