Several days ago, a review conference was held in Haiyan to review “Urban Design and Planning Design of Architectural Concept of Major Zones of High-speed Railway City”. Authoritative experts were invited to explore the grand development blueprint for the High-speed Railway City of Haiyan.

At the conference, the team of China Academy of Urban Planning Design and China Railway Siyuan Survey and Design Group Co., Ltd. made a joint report on their planning design of the High-speed Railway City of Haiyan.

Integrating the High-speed Railway Station into urban areas, this planning design divides the City into Zero-carbon Urban Zone, Sci-tech Zone of Rivers and Lakes, Zone of Fitness and Entertainment and New Community of Future. According to the design concept of “Zone of Rivers and Lakes, Sci-tech Innovation Center and Community of Future”, the City will be built into a high-quality, low-carbon, green and innovative future city with fresh and natural environment, clear rivers and lakes and brilliant culture.

In the background of the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta and the southern expansion of Hongqiao International Open Hub, Haiyan is to link Shanghai, Hangzhou, Suzhou and Ningbo move conveniently with the construction of Nantong-Suzhou-Jiaxing-Ningbo Railway and Haiyan Railway Station. Backed up by special history, culture, industrial resources and convenient traffic, the will be built into a pioneering common prosperity zone with sustainable and high-quality development.
