In the 100-day campaign to optimize business environment, Haiyan has given priority to efficiency, provided convenient and standard services, improve the service process concerning the consumption of water, electricity and gas, promote the reform of public services and enhance service quality to meet people’s needs through high-efficiency and high-quality services and remove the barriers in serving the people and enterprises.  Recently, “Window for Citizens”- a self-service terminal has been put into operation, which can handle 14 issues of water business. It will bring more convenience to individuals and enterprises when they handle the issues concerning water business.

The "Window for Citizens" is a platform built by the county in recent years to serve the public. Through this service terminal you can make an inquiry, reservation and application, and print. It provides self-services for something simple and rapid services for public matters and handle all the issues on water business. At present, nine towns have applied this platform around the clock. When individuals and enterprises hope to handle the issues on water business through this self-service terminal, they have to take relevant certificates and documents and follow the operation process.

In this year’s 100-day campaign to improve business environment, the county has striven to minimize administrative examination and approval steps, maximize work efficiency, build the best opening environment, benefit enterprises to the greatest degree, improve the systems and mechanism and focus on life-cycle services for the enterprises and on business environment evaluation indexes to settle the barriers preventing the improvement of business environment, accelerate the formation of a number of institutional innovation achievements with Haiyan’s characteristics and stimulate the vitality of market entities to a greater extent.
