Haiyan Starts the Construction of It’s First Digital Pipe Corridor for Transporting Medical Materials

  • Located in the new material and chemical industry park of Haiyan Economic Development Zone, the digital pipe corridors for transporting medical materials started their construction several days ago. They are Haiyan's first digital pipe corridors for transporting chemical materials.

    With a total investment of 60 million yuan, this project will form one vertical and one horizontal digital pipe corridor for transporting medical materials after its operation. These corridors will be linked to the pipe corridors of the medical industrial park of Jiaxing Port Zone, make full use of underground space, conduct intelligent supervision and management of the medical industrial park, settle the problems arising from heavy trucks, further improve urban quality, conserve energy, share resources and strengthen enterprises’ industrial chains in the medical industrial park.

    Those digital pipe corridors will transport chemical materials for the major projects of Hengxiang New Material Co., Ltd., Air Products, and Zhejiang Sanjiangsiyi New Material Co., Ltd. and transport hydrogen, ethylene oxide and other medical materials for enterprises of the New Materials and Medical Industrial Park of the Haiyan Economic Development Zone. The project is a practice for Haiyan Economic Development Zone to make innovation in the development concept based on the industrial chain of the industrial park.

    In recent years, this Development Zone has given priority to the leading role of development plans, and issued “An Overall Plan of the New Materials and Industrial Park of Haiyan Economic Development Zone” and “Industrial Plan of the New Materials and Industrial Park of Haiyan Economic Development Zone (2020-2025) ”. Now this New Materials and Medical Industrial Park has been built into “one center, one park, one corridor and three zones” and its scientific planning and management has been further enhanced.
