Themed by “A Date with China 2022”, International Media’s Interviews (Zhejiang) started in Haiyan. 30 journalists from central media such as people.cn, xinhuannet, cri.cn, chinadaily.com.cn, cctv.com, youth.cn, gmw.cn and from foreign famous media went to Haiyan as a group to make interviews in Xueshuigang Village, Zhang Leping Memorial Hall, Zhejiang Lianxiang Smart Furniture Co., Ltd., and Pig Planet. They experienced local characteristic achievements in digital reform, rural revitalization, common prosperity, etc. and watched the romantic sunrise at the Fish Scale-like Seawall of Haiyan.

Guided by the Network Communication Bureau of Cyberspace Information Office of China and co-hosted by chinadaily.com.cn and Internet Information Office of Zhejiang, “A Date with China” has lasted for two years and its participants have made interviews in more than ten provinces and autonomous regions such as Xinjiang, Fujian, Ningxia and Anhui. So far, its interview information has been shared globally more than 2.6 billion times. Haiyan is the first place of Zhejiang to receive its journalists for interviews.
