On April 29, Haiyan County held a Meeting to Celebrate the May Day & Award Ceremony for Model Workers to encourage people to learn from model workers, love work, improve work skills, construct “One Belt and Three Cities”, realize “Ten Dreams” and make new progress in building Haiyan into a pioneering area of the socialist modern construction to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China.

Model workers and model units between the years 2017 and 2021 were commended. Such persons were honored as “Model Workers of Haiyan” as Wang Dalian, Wang Weili, Ye Wuliang, Zhu Shuizhong, Zhu Jintao, Liu Shaojie, Xu Yujun, Du Jun, Yang Weimin, Wu Xi’nan, Shen Xindan, He Haiyan, Chen Ningning, Chen Jianming, Jiang Jie, Yao Hua, Yao Yunfeng, Xu Mingqun, Huang Wenhua, Dong Xiaoyun; those units won the honor of “Model Unit of Haiyan”: Xitangqiao Branch of the People’s Hospital of Haiyan, Enforcement Bureau of the People’s Court of Haiyan, the Sixth Procuratorial Department of the People’s Procuratorate of Haiyan, Zhejiang Haiyan Rural Commercial Bank Co., Ltd., Cultural Sub-center of Ganpu, Development and Reform Bureau of Haiyan, Investment Attraction and Project Promotion Service Center of Haiyan Economic and Technological Development Zone (Xitangqiao), Yuanji Senior Middle School, Shendang Wanhao Modern Agriculture Service Center of Haiyan, and Zhonghe Chemical Engineering Packing Team of Zhejiang Zhongda Shelf Technology Co., Ltd.

According to Chen Lingfang, secretary of the CPC Haiyan County Committee, all laborers of the county, guided by Xi Jinping’s Thought on the Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for the New Era and led by the leadership of the CPC Haiyan County Committee, have united together to work to build Haiyan into a moderately prosperous county to promote the high-quality development of the county. 2021 is the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and the first year to carry out the 14th “Five-Year Plan”. All laborers of the county should play a key role in achieving the development goals set in the “14th Five-Year Plan”, implement the Prime Strategy that Jiaxing actively participates in the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta, and “10 Improvement Projects”, strengthen sci-tech innovation and rural revitalization, promote digitized reform and implement “10+2+1” Special Actions to accelerate Haiyan’s tremendous development.

All laborers should strive to be pioneers and keep pace with the times. All levels of labor unions of the county should implement the guidelines, routes and decisions of the Party in their work, put the will and proposals into practice, enhance workers’ political consciousness, gather tremendous powers for innovation and starting up new businesses, encourage laborers to love their work, guide them to serve as witnesses, pathfinders and constructors of the all-round socialist modern construction. Measures should be made to encourage laborers to keep improving themselves, and strive to play a key role in innovation. All levels of labor unions of the county should work harder to develop manufacturing industry, improve employees’ quality, organize vocational contests, encourage sci-tech innovation, train high-quality craftsmen, technicians and employees and fully demonstrate the images of the working class of the New Era. All labour unions should fulfill their duties, unite employees, serve as bridges linking the Party and people, master new development rules, make innovations in work mechanisms, operating mechanisms of labour unions and protect and motivate employees’ innovation and work enthusiasm. All levels of Party committees of the county should further strengthen the leadership of the labour unions, support their work, and create a more favorable work condition for their work to make the labor unions be employees’ reliable supporters.
