Organized by the Organizing Committee of 2021 China Yangtze River Delta·Haiyan South-north Lake Culture and Tourism Festival and the Publicity Department of the CPC Haiyan County Committee, the opening ceremony of the Fifth Netizens’ Culture Festival & Exhibition of Short Videos of Haiyan’s New Images kicked off in Haiyan Media Center not long ago.

As an activity of the South-north Lake Culture and Tourism Festival, this Netizens’ Culture Festival themed by “New Images of Haiyan” released “White Paper of New Images of Haiyan 2021”, showcased 10 outstanding short videos and awarded trophies to videographers.

Since August 2021, the Internet Information Office of the CPC Haiyan County Committee and Haiyan Media Center have organized a series of short video shooting activities with the theme of "New Images of Haiyan" through “Original Haiyan”- its official account of Tik Tok. This activity has attracted a large number of netizens’ attention. Till now, “New Images of Haiyan” have been played for more than 190 million times and relevant videos have totaled approximately 7,000.

In addition, this cultural festival publicized two tourist destinations “Garden for Watching Sea” and “Romantic Windmill Roads”, which soon became popular in the Tik Tok and favorite tourist destinations during the holidays of the Mid-autumn Festival and National Day this year. The cultural festival was held to inspire residents and netizens to love their hometown Haiyan, enhance Haiyan’s image and reputation and strengthen local endogenous driving forces to build the county into a “demonstration model of common prosperity”.
