From October 20 this year, measures have been made for the residents with permanent household registration of Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui to apply for ID cards for the first time at the service windows of each town of Haiyan.

Those residents over 16 years old shall submit their Household Register and one of the documents concerning legal and stable employment, education or abodes as evidences when they apply in Haiyan for their ID cards of Shanghai, Jiangsu, Anhui and Zhejiang for the first time. If they are under 16, their guardians shall provide applicants’ Household Register and one of the documents concerning their legal and stable employment, education or abodes as well as the guardians’ ID cards and Household Register (If guardians did not register their kinship with applicants, they shall submit the documents as guardianship evidences such as applicants’ medical certificates of birth). Applicants can choose to collect their ID cards in the place where they apply or by post. At present, the replacement or the first application for ID cards can be realized in Haiyan.
