A conference was held in Zhejiang to accelerate the process of major investment projects of the whole province and the construction of characteristic towns, and 15 new towns (the fifth batch ) were announced as candidates of provincial characteristic towns, including the Integrated and Fashionable Home Decoration Town of Haiyan that used to be a characteristic town being fostered.  

Made up of “one core, four zones, one axis and three belts”, this town is engaged in home decoration industries. One core refers to “reception room” mainly for image demonstration. “Four zones” are the cooperation zone of international fashion, manufacturing zone of intelligent homes, experience zone for industrial fashion and comprehensive service zone. These four zones are mainly engaged in the manufacturing research and development of products of integrated home decoration. “One axis” is the development zone of the town mainly to coordinate the development of these four zones. “Three belts” are the leisure and entertainment belts themed by landscapes, wetlands and green river banks respectively.  

In 2016, this town was honored as one of the second batch of provincial characteristic towns to be fostered. After years’ efforts, the town has made scientific planning, clustered characteristic industries and improved functions. As one of ten top excellent development platforms for small and micro businesses of Zhejiang, China Integrated Home Decoration Industrial Park is striving to build a base for intelligent manufacturing, research, logistic and demonstration for integrated ceiling industry. Now it has attracted 650 enterprises including two listed enterprises, 17 ones each with an annual output values of 100 million yuan, and owns two major projects of Zhejiang, 160 famous brands, 3,000 national patents and 8,000 franchise shops nationwide.
