A series of science popularization activities featuring “Praising New China and Living an Intelligent Life” were held in Haiyan on the National Popularization Publicity Day since the third ten days of this August in a bid to implement the development concepts of ‘innovation, coordination, green, opening and sharing’, further carry out scientific spirit, publicize scientific knowledge, enhance the quality of the public and coordinate the development of science popularization and sci-tech innovation to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.

In recent years, Haiyan Association for Science and Technology has normalized and institutionalized the experience of national science popularization pilot county construction, launched five major projects and enhanced the scientific quality of people and made joint efforts to build a county-based science popularization system so that great achievements have been obtained in innovation in building science popularization platforms, organizing science popularization activities and offering targeted science popularization services.
