Several days ago, the 31st Shanghai Tourism Sales Fair was held in Shanghai Grand Theatre. At the Fair, the list of the Favorite Tourist Attractions of Shanghai’s Citizens was released and Haiyan was included. Meanwhile, Haili Kaiyuan Mdingdu Hotel of Haiyan was their favorite hotel.

Haiyan is geographically and culturally close to Shanghai. The distance between two cities is just 100 kilometers, about one hour’s drive from one city to the other. Haiyan is abundant in tourism and culture resources, and in these years it has vigorously developed tourism industry, and enhanced the quality of traditional, cultural, rural and industrial scenic areas like South-north Lake, Qiyuan Garden, Pig Planet, Five-Flavored Villages, Qinshan Nuclear Power Station, etc. A number of village-based scenic areas have come into being characteristic of beautiful environment, prosperous industries and shining cultures, injecting new energy and driving forces into the rural revitalization, strengthening the scenic areas of the whole county and driving the county-based tourism to a new development phase. This year, this county has organized several tourism fairs in the cities of Jiangsu, Shanghai and the cities of Zhejiang to introduce its scenic areas and tourism enterprises and improve the popularity and reputation of local tourism brands in the Yangtze River Delta. With the help of the South-north Lake Culture Tourism Festival and other tourism festivals, the county has attracted more tourists of the Yangtze River Delta to come to experience their cheerful travels.
