      in nuclear power development, top prioroity will be given to developing nuclear power related industries.On March 8, 2009, a strategic partnership talk held by Government of Zhejiang Province and China Nuclear Power Industry Group made clear the efforts to develop nuclear power related industries and turn Haiyan into a nuclear power city in China.With Qinshan Nuclear Station as the core and dependent on the central urban area and integrating resources, the target is to build the largest,the most complete and technologically advanced nuclear power city in China.The current conditions of the nuclear power city will allow it to become the base of independently developing nuclear eqippments based on introducing and absorbing nuclear equippments.

      Qinshan Nuclear Power-related Park, one of the projects of Nuclear City,is located to the north-west of Qinshan Nuclear Power Station andis planned to cover an area of 663.5 hectares. The park consists of two areas. One is central service area,and the other is a supporting area for nuclear power, covering an area of 389.5 hectares and 274 hectares respectively. The park will promote the development of nuclear power-related industries. It will develop non-nuclear auxiliary equipment manufacturing industry in close connection with traditional fastener industry in Haiyan county. It will prioritize the introduction of high-tech nuclear power equipment industry and heavy equipment industries by taking advantage of being near the sea.At the same time, making the most of its advantages in nuclear service industry, the park will focus on the introduction of talent education, training institutions, nuclear power research and incubator, holding nuclear power related exhibitions, conference and development of nuclear science tourism.
