In recent years, in response to new situations,vigorous efforts were made to accelerate the development of coastal and port area, and the reclamation projects in South-North Lake and the infrastructure in the new reclamation area,in which about 20 billion yuan has been invested. As a result, the reclamation has increased land of about 13,500 mu in Haiyan port area and 22,500 mu in South-North Lake scenic spot.This offers great development space for the port industries and tourism development.Wth the infrastructure increasingly improved,the 13,500 mu reclaimed land in Haiyan port area has met the requirments for development and construction. Owing to its connection with the 10,000 ton sea port, it is suitable for port-industries.
